Collector portrait Marla
Limited and numbered edition artwork - Design Rachel & Benoît Convers - Material: HPL frame and print on compressed paper - Made in France
Marla confuses and fascinates, her gaze, hidden behind a cleverly disordered head of hair, intensifying the portrait's secret aura. Like Abel, she belongs to the Secrets d'Alcôves series, in which characters seek each other out and respond without ever settling into a single posture. A game of seduction, shadows and reflections, where the boundary between the revealed and the hidden feeds the intensity of the work.
The work of Rachel Convers, Marla is printed on aluminum dibond and its solid laminate frame reinforces the character's presence. Like all the works in the collection, Marla is numbered, signed and accompanied by its certificate of authenticity, affirming its status as a work of art.
Thanks to the included wall-mounting system, Marla can be displayed alone or in a diptych with Abel, in a setting where the viewer's gaze plays a key role. Its dibond aluminum surface is highly resistant to humidity and temperature changes.
A soft cloth is all that's needed to preserve the depth and intensity of the image.
